The Walking foot is a fantastic attachment that is primarily used for sewing thick, thin, sticky or difficult materials. Ideal for quilting as it does what is says on the box.
It walks the the material through the sewing machine evenly and smoothly.
With this foot, fabric can be sewn without shifting or puckering since the fabric is held and fed by both the upper and lower feed dogs.

Category A -your bobbin is loaded in to the front of the machine (5mm width - short shank).
Category B -your bobbin is loaded in to the top of your machine, underneath the needle (6.5mm - 7mm width - short shank)
Category C - your bobbin is loaded in to the top of your machine, underneath the needle (7mm width - high shank)
Category D - your bobbin is loaded in to the top of your machine, underneath the needle (9mm width - high shank)
